Job Description:
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, located in the vibrant
city of Nashville, TN, is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine
Technologist to join our top-tier medical services team. This
position requires a committed professional who excels in a dynamic,
patient-centered environment. Our center provides a range of
state-of-the-art services including emergency care, cardiology,
orthopedics, and rehabilitation, all underpinned by our commitment
to high-quality, compassionate care. The successful candidate will
be responsible for operating nuclear medicine equipment,
administering radiopharmaceuticals, and conducting scans to provide
critical diagnostic information to healthcare providers. Prepare
and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear imaging. Perform
diagnostic procedures using nuclear medicine equipment. Ensure
compliance with safety guidelines to protect patients and staff
from undue radiation exposure. Analyze findings and collaborate
with physicians to evaluate images and reports. Maintain detailed
records of procedures, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Provide patient education and care before, during, and after
procedures. Proficient in using nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle
