TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, seeks a dedicated Acute Care Surgical Nurse PRN to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality care to surgical patients in acute settings. As part of our team, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility known for its comprehensive emergency, cardiology, oncology services, and more. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and a strong commitment to patient care in fast-paced environments. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient health and post-surgical recovery, adjust care plans as necessary. Work alongside surgical teams under intense conditions to ensure effective care delivery. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and health maintenance. Maintain patient records and participate in clinical audits. Strong clinical skills in an acute care setting Ability to work effectively in high stress situations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent CCRN certification preferred but not required
