Specialist About the Position & Its Impact The Night Client Care
Specialist – is a front-line presence responsible for supporting
clients, families, and referral partners while overseeing overnight
program operations. This role works closely with Clinical and
Programming teams to ensure safety, continuity of care, and a
grounded therapeutic environment. At night, the work matters
differently. You are the steady calm when clients feel vulnerable,
the reassuring presence when emotions surface, and the protector of
a space where healing continues even while the world sleeps. Your
care, attentiveness, and composure directly impact how safe,
supported, and respected clients feel during some of their most
tender moments. About the Day-to-Day in This Role Serve as the
overnight point of support for clients, providing supervision,
guidance, and calm problem-solving when needs arise Respond to
crises or emergent situations using sound judgment, de-escalation
skills, and established protocols Lead or support group activities
and psycho-educational programming as needed, helping maintain
consistency and flow of the program schedule Welcome and orient new
clients, ensuring they feel informed, grounded, and supported upon
arrival Maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment through
routine room checks, safety rounds, and facility upkeep Communicate
client needs and observations to therapists and the clinical team
through daily check-ins and documentation Complete nightly
operational responsibilities including checklists, tours,
preparation for openings and closings, and on-call phone coverage
Provide transportation support for appointments or emergencies when
required Actively model and uphold Onsite’s ANCHOR values, serving

safety Collaborate with team members across departments to support
the broader vision and strategic goals of the organization
Requirements: Ideal Education & Experience for the Role We are open
to candidates of all backgrounds who bring the right mindset,
maturity, and care for others. High school diploma required;
college-level coursework in a related field preferred Experience in
residential treatment, recovery, counseling, or therapeutic
environments strongly preferred Familiarity with trauma-informed
care and sensitivity to complex emotional experiences Ability to
remain composed and supportive during crisis situations and
effectively implement de-escalation techniques Comfort working
independently overnight while staying engaged, observant, and
responsive Reliable, adaptable, and flexible with changing needs
