seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to
lead our sales efforts in the Ohio River Valley region.Position
Overview
As the Regional Sales Director for the Ohio River Valley, you will
play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion
for our aggregate products. Your primary responsibility will be to
lead, strategize, and execute sales initiatives while fostering
strong relationships with existing and potential clients. This role
requires a deep understanding of both the aggregate industry and
construction sector, as well as exceptional leadership and
communication skills.Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve
revenue targets and market share growth within the Ohio River
Valley region.
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Managers and Representatives,
providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations,
marketing, and customer service, to align strategies and ensure
seamless customer experiences.2. Market Development
- Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and
potential clients within the Ohio River Valley region.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and
market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish the company as a trusted partner by showcasing the
value and benefits of our aggregate products.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts,
understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer
satisfaction.
- Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and
provide tailored solutions using our aggregate products.
- Address customer concerns, inquiries, and issues promptly and
professionally.4. Sales Performance and Analysis
- Track and analyze sales metrics, market trends, and regional
performance data to identify areas for improvement and
optimization.
- Develop and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and
presentations to senior management.
5. Strategic Planning
- Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies,
identifying opportunities for growth, diversification, and
innovation.
- Participate in the development of pricing strategies, contract
negotiations, and terms of agreements.Qualifications- Bachelor's
degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a
related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in a sales leadership
role within the aggregate or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction aggregates, industry trends,
and relevant regulations.
- Strong network of contacts within the Ohio River Valley
construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to
motivate and guide a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal
abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and
market insights.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales
analytics tools.Location
