The typical day consists of working safely as part of a team building and setting concrete forms, pouring and finishing concrete, and assisting supervisors in orienting and training new employees. Regular working hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with some Saturdays and Sundays to meet project schedules. Travel is daily to various job site locations within a 100-mile radius of office with occasional out-of-town work. Position RequirementsKnowledge, Experience & Competencies:Minimum of 2 years experience as a carpenter helper in a commercial construction environmentMust have basic competencies in mathematics and be able to perform math operations rapidly and accuratelyAbility to lay out and build forms squareAbility to work well under time constraints and in a team-based environmentAbility to operate equipment as well as manual and power tools typically used by carpenters in commercial construction Equal Opportunity Employer T.
