Job Description:
Oversees complex litigation in the eastern half of the United
States through supervision of outside counsel. Proactively manages
cases to drive favorable results for the insured and/or the
company. Actively participates in ADR processes and manages all
facets of a lawsuit from inception to conclusion. All file types
are managed and all venues within the eastern United
States.Position Compensation Range:$84,000.00 - $139,000.00Pay Rate

geographic work location.Primary AccountabilitiesOversees complex
litigation in the eastern half of the United States through
supervision of outside counsel. Proactively manages cases to drive
favorable results for the insured and/or the company. Actively
participates in ADR processes and manages all facets of a lawsuit
from inception to conclusion. All file types are managed and all
venues within the eastern United States.Specialized Knowledge &
Skills Requirements*Demonstrated ability to oversee complex
litigation involving outside counsel defending complex high-risk
lawsuits in state and federal courts.*Demonstrated experience in
ADR proceedings, including mediations, arbitrations and other ADR
as appropriate by venue.*Ability to adapt and learn case management
software and utilize online resources to locate case information
depending on jurisdiction.*Successfully applied knowledge of each
phase of the litigation process.Licenses*Obtain state specific
property casualty claims licensing as required.Travel
Requirements*Up to 10%.*Catastrophe travel up to 75% as
applicable.Physical Requirements*Work that primarily involves
sitting/standing.Working Conditions*Not applicable.This position
works within a combined team of adjusters and attorneys,
responsible for the management and oversight of outside counsel on
litigated, complex files. Candidate will ensure that counsel's
performance aligns with legal strategies and that counsel delivers
high-quality legal representation. Ideal candidate will have
significant experience managing external counsel, making
presentations to diverse audiences, and preparing concise, written
