We're currently in search of an experienced Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team in Clarksville, TN.


  • Educational and Experience Qualification: Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in accounting or 3 years of equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Competencies:

    • Attention to Detail: Able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when reviewing timesheets and processing payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Effective Communication: proficient in verbal and written communication.

    • Collaboration and Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments to support payroll and benefits administration processes.

    • Confidentiality and Discretion: Able to uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information and payroll data.

    • Problem-Solving: Employing analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.

    • Adaptability: Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a production environment.

    • Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, with strong organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll and benefits tasks.

    • Continuous Learning: A willingness to learn and stay updated on payroll and benefits regulations, procedures, and best practices.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Review timesheets for accuracy and process weekly payroll.
      • Issue adjustments to pay and record retroactive increases.
      • Send weekly timecards to staffing agencies.
      • Process termination paperwork and prepare adjustments for PTO accruals.
      • Download 401k deferral reports and verify the correct deferral in the payroll system.
      • Setup garnishments in the payroll system
      • Prepare monthly insurance discrepancy letters.
      • Assist in posting pay cycles into the accounting system.
      • Maintain attendance reports and handle FMLA paperwork.
      • Assist with various administrative duties as assigned.

        Salary and Benefits:
        Starting compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
