Business Development Manager (Midwest Region)Transport Enterprise Leasing, LLC (TEL) is looking for a Business Development Manager for our Fleet Leasing Division to join our team. The ideal candidate will reside in the Midwest Region and have experience with sales in the transportation or logistics industries.Background of TEL:TEL is a rapidly growing company headquartered in the beautiful Lookout valley area of Chattanooga, TN. We are expecting to open our brand-new, state-of-the-art reconditioning shop at the end of the year in Greenfield, Indiana. While we are still in the fastest growing phase in the history of our company, this position allows a great opportunity to get started with our company. Our Employees are our greatest asset! We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and an unmatched work environment.The Business Development Manager is responsible for overall customer portfolio performance. Performance KPI focused on building relationships with current customer and prospects identified as key targets/accounts in desired AOR.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Manage relationship and development of current accounts to ensure portfolio growth adherence to company policy.Prospect Key Target accounting in assigned to territory to bolster customer density in accounts under management.Work inbound leads as identified by the Fleet Leasing Team.Monthly property visits to all identified key accounts under management.Accountable for renewals, lease terminations, and inventory management under customer portfolio.Provide input, implementation, and target key prospects in AOR growth strategy.Provide feedback on competition in assigned AOR.Ensure position SOP is maintained and up-to-date.Attend state association and marketing events in assigned territory.Maintains good working knowledge of all products and services offered by TEL.Work with credit and collections on credit underwriting, deal implementation, and collection process.Adhere to all SOP and Company Policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in "Business Management" or applicable business field or combination of equivalent experience and education.Three or more years of experience in B2B sales in the transportation industry.Ability to work with a team to problem solve and provide an outstanding customer experience.Have positive, high energy and desire to work hard to accomplish goals.Keep in touch with overall transportation market trends and disrupters.Be coachable and have desire to learn new skill sets.Strong excel skillsGood understanding of financial statements and what business practices is used to affect positive results from an operational standpoint.Wage:Base of $65,000 - $75,000 annually + commission, dependent upon experienceBenefits:100% employer paid medical, dental and vision premiums through BlueCross BlueShield of TNHSA with $800 annual employer contributionVoluntary Life, Short- and Long-Term Disability8-week paid Maternity Leave (mothers) and 2-week paid Paternity Leave (fathers)Paid Time Off10 Holidays (including birthday)401(k) with up to 4% employer matchProfit Sharing (some exclusions apply)Retirement Pay ProgramYears of Service Cash IncentiveUnlimited access to LinkedIn Learning's course library for personal and professional development
