Danfoss' newest business unit - White Drives Motors & Steering is a standalone business that consists of three locations -- Hopkinsville, Kentucky, U.S.; Wroclaw, Poland; and Parchim, Germany. As part of the announced acquisition of Eaton Hydraulics, White Drives Motors & Steering will be divested from Danfoss by the end of 3Q 2021 to ensure all regulatory approvals are met.

This position is expected to remain with White Drives Motors & Steering. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Danfoss' plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Danfoss when the transaction closes, the new owner of White Drive Motors & Steering will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Danfoss Customer Claims Handling team in White Drive; Hopkinsville Factory, is seeking a motivated, reliable and responsive Customer Claims Handling Coordinator. The Customer Claims Handling Coordinator will process customer complaints and enter them into claims handling database, SAP.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive claims from customers via email or phone calls. Must be able to proficiently work inside Customer portals to read Customer claims and bring necessary information into Customer handling databas
  • Provide updates regarding Customer claims to Customers when requested and bring inputs to factory to support identification of true root cause so effective corrective action/s can be implemented for long term improvements.
  • Be the key / primary contact to maintain /attend all email communications related to Customer Warranty that are managed through the service post email account for claims.
  • Coordinate and track the return of warranties to the plant and support in the initial basic product evaluation to define next steps to continue with CAR process.
  • Manage the final disposition of material returned once the specific CAR/ problem solving activities are completed, to secure that inventory adjustment and scrap are properly managed according to documented procedures.
  • Secure that Customers tracking our Quality performance, will match with our internal Quality PPM metrics according to procedures. Report out to White Drive Management the monthly report showing the Customer tracking compared to White Drive so they are aligned and maintained.

Background & Skills

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years' experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), attention to detail, and strong organization skills required
  • Proficiency with SAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT etc.)
  • Problem solving Mindset
