The Clinical Recruiter is responsible and accountable for the recruitment, retention of clinical positions for Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. They will work with Tennova Healthcare-Middle Marketing and Development staff relative to advertising, planning, presenting and evaluating programs to assist in providing the most qualified applicants. Maintain close collaboration with appropriate facility leadership and department directors/managers to maintain a viable recruitment and retention program for clinical positions. Responsible for developing, organizing, administering and making recommendations for continued growth and development of the recruitment program

Maintain close collaboration with appropriate facility leadership and department directors/managers to maintain a viable recruitment and retention program for clinical positions. Responsible for developing, organizing, administering and making recommendations for continued growth and development of the recruitment program

Education/License/Certification:

  • Minimum of Associate degree in Human Resources, Nursing or related field or ten years (10) equivalent experience in Human Resources or Nursing preferred
  • Current licensed in state of Tennessee or compact state as Registered Nurse, in good standing
  • Continuing education in area of practice, human resources management and/or related field
  • PHR/SPHR preferred

Experience:

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years Human Resources, Nursing or related experience
  • Knowledge of clinical areas of hospital and affiliate settings
  • Public Relations aptitude; ability to tactfully communicate and relate effectively with all of people (i.e. management, employees, candidates, and the public)
  • Initiative to work independently
  • Clerical accuracy; work is detailed, highly-regulated and frequently stressful position
  • Program Development and presentation
  • Ability to create and develop recruitment materials
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Applicant Tracking Systems/databases.
