Position Identification: Job Title: Inventory Coordinator (SCP Coordinator)Department: America SCMJob Classification:Full-time; Non-exempt Job Purpose: To provide inventory support to the Supply Chain Management Team with timely and accurate assistance. Manages the Goods Receipt Process to ensure 100% flow of stock is accurate. Reviews and validates all supply/stock/inventory quantities incoming and outgoing of the SCM Warehouse. Assists the SCM Team with communication and support in providing optimized inventory support. Key Accountabilities: Duties include but are not limited to the following:Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) AWMS / SOLZARD / SAP to validate Loading Work Lists for accuracy; conducts causative research and reconciles discrepanciesCorrects Goods Receipt duplicate barcode(s) and rejects; assists Shipping Operator with manually processing overflow of stock; maintains a daily data log of transactionsReviews and updates stockage levels by completing inventory blocks / releases, move outs, and inventory quantity update(s)Reviews inventory and makes recommendations on First In / First Out (FIFO) proceduresProcesses all tire samples to include coordination, palletizing, and shipment. This includes any special requirements such as inspection coordination, markings, and maintaining requires suppliesPerforms monthly 10% cyclic inventory and periodic checks on overflow of Goods Receipts and Goods IssueProvides forklift support to the SCM Team as requiredPrepares and modifies daily and weekly reports and correspondence as required in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures Ensures that Goods Issues (GI) are processed before stock leaves the SCM area, processes invoices through SAP Verifies GI results after shipping based on supporting systems and documents especially upon requests from consignees regarding overage and shortage.Notifies verified results to related subjects and leads the improvement to make better processes.Assists the Inventory Manager with 100% inventory Maintains files in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures Supports and works with the SCM Team to provide a seamless customer service Supports Hankook polices and safety procedures Core Competencies: Required KnowledgeClerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminologyCustomer and Personal Service- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionCritical Thinking and Decision Making- Process the ability to analyze data (sales information, stock levels, back orders, and warehouse situations) to make logical decisions.Logistics - Knowledge of SAP systems, 5S's, and an understanding of Fitst In First Out (FIFO) procedures based on priorities. Experience working with carriers, freight brokers, and clients.Administration and Management -Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resourcesRequired Skills:Active Listening & Speaking - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times; talking to others to convey information effectivelyReading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documentsCritical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsCoordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actionsJudgment and Decision Making- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one Qualifications: Education:(Required) Bachelor's degree; Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management preferredExperience:(Preferred) Previous relevant experience in the manufacturing industry (transportation/distribution, TMS, Scheduling, and or planning).
