Job Description:
Amazon's Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team
ensures that our global fulfillment and operations networks run
safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. We are hiring a
Principal Program Manager to lead Central RME end-to-end strategy
and execution across launch, delivery, product and tech teams,
working closely with cross-functional partners to translate
strategic requirements into clear, executable operating models. The
scope includes navigating significant operational complexities and
requires a big-picture thinker who can assess existing business
strategy, apply proven concepts, and quickly develop innovative,
scalable strategies. Strong executive presence and exceptional
written communication skills are critical for influencing Directors
and senior VPs in this high-visibility program. This role requires
you work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead
not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by
diving deeply into business and technical domains. Key job
responsibilities - Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for
programs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and
operational strategies. - Influence senior stakeholders through
crisp written narratives, data-driven insights, and clear
recommendations. - Lead business reviews, presenting complex
analyses and influencing critical decisions that shape operational
networks. - Lead cross-functional strategic planning and delivery
to translate strategic requirements into clear, executable
operating models. - Act as a single-threaded leader aligning teams
on priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs; collaborating with
cross-functional teams to plan and execute on strategy. - Develop
and drive business and technical requirements to enable scalable
strategic initiatives. - Identify and navigate operational
constraints in complex environments, proactively driving risk
mitigation plans. - Establish mechanisms, operating rhythms, and
success metrics to track progress, unblock dependencies, and ensure

management experience - 7 years of working cross functionally with
tech and non-tech teams experience - 7 years of managing, analyzing
and communicating results to senior leadership experience -
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation
or standardization - Experience defining program requirements and
using data and metrics to determine improvements - Experience using
data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience
owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating
results to senior leadership - Experience working cross
functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Knowledge of Excel at
an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple
criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array
formulas, etc.) - MBA - PMP certificate - 7 years of working cross
functionally across several teams experience - Experience owning
program strategy and end to end delivery - Experience handling
ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving
abilities - Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL,
Tableau, MS Excel, or Microsoft Access - Demonstrable
problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to
drive decisions in a business environment - Demonstrated experience
and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies
across multiple leadership levels of an organization - Proven
ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without
authority to adopt new processes/initiatives - High attention to
detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing
projects and priorities simultaneously - Demonstrated success in
thinking strategically and executing methodically - Analytical and
quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to
back up assumptions and develop business cases - Demonstrated
ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
