Are you an experienced developer with a strong background in life insurance software solutions? Do you have the skills to lead and innovate in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment? If so, we want you to join our team as a Lead Developer focused on Sapiens Life Insurance Products!

In this role, you will combine your expertise in Java, J2EE technologies, and Spring Boot programming to enhance and support life insurance applications. As a lead developer, you'll play a key part in designing and building next-generation enterprise software solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to meet their needs.

What You'll Do:

Lead the Design and Development: Participate in the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Sapiens Life Insurance software, ensuring it aligns with both business requirements and technical specifications.
Analyze & Transform Business Requirements: Work closely with business analysts to understand and transform business requirements into detailed design specifications at both the system and programming levels.
Effort Estimation & Timeline Management: Estimate the effort and timelines required for project changes, ensuring they are realistic and achievable.
J2EE Development & Testing: Perform hands-on development and testing in a J2EE platform to implement the necessary changes and enhancements.
Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-implementation support, including the analysis and resolution of any production issues, ensuring seamless operations.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine processes and methodologies, bringing in innovative solutions that drive efficiency and scalability.

Key Qualifications:

Experience in Life Insurance Solutions: Minimum 3-5 years of technical development experience with Sapiens Life Insurance products.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with J2EE technologies, including Spring Boot, JSP, Velocity, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, AJAX, and Java 6.
Database & OOPs Concepts: Strong familiarity with database design and optimization along with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Microservices & Kubernetes (Advantage): Exposure to microservices architecture, event-driven programming, and Kubernetes is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Good conceptual, analytical, and mathematical problem-solving skills.
Self-Starter & Team Player: You are a motivated learner with a passion for technology and innovation. You're a team player who thrives in collaborative environments and is eager to take on new challenges.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with great verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in any stream with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Must-Have:

Proven Technical Development experience with Sapiens Life Insurance products.
Strong Communication and Presentation skills to liaise with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
