Job OverviewAt Trane Technologies, we're pushing the boundaries of climate solutions for a sustainable world. As a Lead Unitary Systems Technology Engineer, you'll join our Applied Compression Network of Excellence, driving innovation and advancing capabilities in vapor compression systems.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain compression technology strategic roadmaps, collaborating with Strategic Business Units to deploy cutting-edge technology.
• Conduct analysis to evaluate and screen technology candidates for further development, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Lead regular enterprise-wide technology forums, developing technology roadmaps and application guidelines for new technology implementation.
• Manage full value chain of external compression-related projects, building key relationships with academia and industry partners.
• Transfer capability to Strategic Business Units, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies.Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in global companies with advanced technologies deployed in new product development, preferably in the HVACR industry.
  • Technical degree, Ph.D., or Masters in Engineering from a leading academic institution, plus business education.
  • Strong understanding and application of modeling and simulation of compression devices and related systems.
  • Solid understanding of vapor compression cycles and component performance characteristics across compression platforms.
  • Experience in selecting vapor compression system components for prototype demonstration and optimizing compressors and their systems.What We Offer:
