Job Description:

Project 2231, a family-owned Hospitality and Entertainment company that operates Miss Lucille's Marketplace, Dock 17, The City Forum and ACME Athletics, is looking for a qualified and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to join our administrative team. We are looking for someone to fulfill both administrative and strategic responsibilities to include staffing, onboarding, training and development, compliance, and compensation and benefits.

*Responsibilities*

* Responsible for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism; responsible for promoting a positive image of the Company.
* Ensure that all Human Resource policies and procedures are in compliance with and adhere to standards by regulatory agencies; conduct ongoing reviews of HR policies, practices and programs to ensure continuing quality improvement and effectiveness.
* Partner with the senior executive team to ensure understanding of, and compliance with, HR policies; keep top management informed of new developments in HR.
* Coordinate Yearly Evaluations for management level team members
* Interview and participate in the selection process for new hire candidates; approve recommendations for terminations; review employee appeals.
* Monitor and maintain high levels of service by working closely with staff.
* Oversee implementation of HR policies and programs.
* Administer new and existing employee benefits including: health insurance, dental/vision and other plan options. Assist management with evaluating and monitoring programs for effectiveness and cost containment.
* Responsible for administration of workers compensation claims as well as state and federal reporting (TN New Hire reporting, Department of Labor, etc.)
* Perform miscellaneous projects as requested by management.

* Resourceful; detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks; ability to prioritize
* Good computer skills; ability to learn new software
* Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to employment
* Two years of Human Resources experience

*Preferred skills and qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar
* Knowledge of Bamboo HR and QuickBooks Desktop

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
