Dental Care of Cookeville – Cookeville, TN Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Assignment Duration: Through October Patient Load: 6–7 patients per day (re-care new patients) About the Opportunity Dental Care of Cookeville is seeking a kind, patient, and flexible Dental Hygienist to support our team through October. Minimum Qualifications - Current dental hygienist license in Tennessee and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) - Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation - CPR Certification Preferred Experience - 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred. - Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems - Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health - Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements - Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
