Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: IV insertion skills Description: Providing quality health care to the surrounding communities for many years. The facility employs more than 1,000 employees and serves a large patient population. It is fully accredited and governed by a local board. The facility is a 167-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff must undergo specific state checks prior to assignment start date. The role involves providing care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The position may require floating to other medical-surgical units as needed. Equipment used includes an Omnicell for medication dispensing, and the EHR system is Meditech. The expected patient-to-nurse ratios will be maintained according to facility standards. Professional demeanor is expected at all times. Required education includes certification/licensure to work as an RN.
