Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 4x12hrs - Hours: 48 hrs/wk - Start Date: Dec 7, 2025 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU assignment, requiring a valid TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Details - Position is in a Critical Care Unit with a 6-bed capacity - Serves cardiac surgery, MI, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest cases - Patient population includes adults ages 18 and up - Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15 - Assignment is 13 weeks with options for 36 or 48 hours per week - Must work at least one of two major holidays during assignment Requirements - Active RN license for TN or compact state - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required - NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred - Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start - US Social Security Number and US home address required Additional Information - Responsibilities focus on care of critical cardiac patients post-surgery and with acute cardiac needs - All positions are considered auto-offer - Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced rate per facility radius rules - Clinical and professional references, a copy of driver’s license, and license verification are required for consideration - COVID vaccination is not required American Traveler Job ID P-619719.
