Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites dedicated and compassionate nursing
professionals to join our team as a PACU Nurse. In this role,
you'll be integral in post-anesthesia care, ensuring the safe
recovery of patients following surgery, and exemplifying our
commitment to the care and improvement of human life. Working
across our expansive network, you'll have unique opportunities to

and contribute to healthcare innovation. Monitor patient vital
signs and levels of consciousness during the recovery phase
post-anesthesia. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor
responses. Assess patients’ pain and employ appropriate pain
management techniques. Educate patients and their families on
post-procedure care. Maintain accurate, complete health care
records and reports. Adhere to safety standards and protocols,
while upholding the quality of care. Expertise in IV and oral
medication administration Strong understanding of post-anesthesia
care units (PACU) protocols Proficiency in electronic healthcare
record systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred
