Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Echocardiography Technologist
to join our faith-based healthcare team. In this role, you will be
instrumental in providing advanced diagnostic care by conducting
echocardiograms to help with the diagnosis and treatment of heart

growth. As an Echocardiography Technologist at Ascension, you will
work in a setting that emphasizes compassionate, personalized care,
using state-of-the-art technology to improve patient outcomes.
Perform echocardiographic examinations including 2D, 3D, Doppler,
and transesophageal studies to assess heart function and
morphology. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the
process and positioning patients to accurately capture images.
Analyze findings and collaborate with cardiologists and other
healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate course of
treatment. Maintain patient records and add echocardiographic data
to patients' charts, reporting significant information to
healthcare practitioners. Ensure the proper maintenance and
calibration of echocardiography equipment to guarantee precision in
diagnostic imaging. Stay updated with the latest techniques and
advancements in echocardiography through continuous education and
professional development. Proficiency in echocardiographic
techniques and interpretation Strong analytical and diagnostic
skills Excellent patient management and communication skills
Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment Knowledge of
cardiac pathologies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision

Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or Certified Cardiographic Technician
(CCT) or equivalent certification.
