Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center seeks a dedicated Durable
Medical Equipment (DME) Technician for PRN (as-needed) positions to
assist in managing, maintaining, and servicing medical equipment to
enhance patient care. Our center is devoted to improving community
health with targeted, innovative programs, and this role plays a
pivotal part in supporting our mission by ensuring all medical
equipment functions seamlessly and effectively. Inspect and perform
regular maintenance on all durable medical equipment Educate and
train healthcare staff on proper use of the equipment Ensure
sanitation and safety standards are met according to healthcare
regulations Assist in inventory control and manage equipment
documentation Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions in medical
equipment Proficiency in using and repairing medical equipment
Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to educate
others and explain technical details clearly Knowledge of
healthcare standards and regulations Ability to work independently
and as part of a healthcare team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
preferred Continuing education in medical equipment technology
