Job Description The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck
Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a
faculty pediatric otolaryngologist with specialty interest in sleep
apnea to provide care in Nashville, TN. Position Highlights: -
Vanderbilt’s Pediatric Otolaryngology team is comprised of 9
surgeons and 10 advanced practice clinicians who perform more than
25,000 outpatient visits and 6,000 surgeries per year. - The
Vanderbilt Children’s Obstructive Sleep Apnea program offers a
multidisciplinary approach to refractory obstructive sleep apnea,
sleep disorders, and weight management. - This position will
provide complete surgical care to children with sleep apnea,
including hypoglossal nerve stimulation, as well as general
pediatric otolaryngology. - Excellent multidisciplinary
collaboration in 13 specialty clinics with specialists at the
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. - Great
work/life balance – take general pediatric otolaryngology call only
one week out of nine, led by residents. - Teach fellows, residents,
and other learners with a faculty appointment to VUMC. Opportunity
to participate in research, QI projects, or program expansion
