Job Description:

Williamson Health and Wellness Center seeks an experienced and dedicated Medical Imaging Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will use state-of-the-art imaging equipment to provide diagnostic support following established protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Key responsibilities include performing various imaging procedures, maintaining imaging equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate integrated patient care. Operate and maintain all types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, MRI, and CT machines. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methods and addressing concerns. Follow all prescribed health and safety regulations in handling radiation and other risks. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate the necessity of imaging procedures. Ensure the quality of images, maintain accurate patient records, and respect confidentiality and privacy guidelines. Proficiency in operating various imaging equipment. Strong communication and patient-management skills. Ability to adhere to safety procedures. Detail-oriented with capability to multi-task. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Applicable state licensure.
