Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Mother Baby Nurse to join our family-centered maternity care team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in providing exceptional
postpartum care, ensuring the health and comfort of both newborns
and mothers during their critical first days. Our facility prides
itself on a holistic approach, integrating state-of-the-art medical
care with emotional and educational support tailored to each
family's needs. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care for
postpartum mothers and their newborns. Assess, plan, and evaluate
patient care needs, including pain management and education on
infant care. Monitor mother and baby vital signs regularly and
respond to any signs of distress. Educate and support mothers and
families on newborn care, lactation advice, and postpartum
recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement
holistic care plans. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for
mothers and infants. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed by healthcare providers. Strong nursing skills with a
focus on maternal and neonatal care. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficiency in managing healthcare records
and utilizing medical software. Capability to work as a part of a
multidisciplinary team to provide superior patient care. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
