This specialized role is designed for a highly skilled nurse who provides expert care to patients in critical conditions while also supporting and educating other nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. This position involves direct patient care, implementation of patient care plans, and participation in critical decision-making processes alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals. It also encompasses the role of a mentor and educator for less experienced nurses in the unit. Provide direct and specialized care for critical care patients. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate and mentor nursing staff within the unit. Participate in research and remain current with advancements in critical care practices. Expertise in critical care patient management Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Proficient in using medical software and critical care technologies Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee Certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) preferred
