Job Description Express Healthcare Staffing of Nashville is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Requirements: Minimum 2 years total RN experience; at least 1 year in critical care Active RN license (no pending licenses) or active Compact license Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must Haves: ICU experience Strong critical thinking and communication skills Procedures Performed on Unit: Central line placements Arterial line placements Paracentesis Thoracentesis Intubations Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 6 Patient Ratios: Mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1 Staffing: 1 Nurse Tech Equipment: Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling: 36 hours per week, every other weekend Floating: Floats to ICU overflow unit Patient Experience: Maintain positive patient experience standards Dress Code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs Additional Information: Newest GE ICU monitors Expanding service lines and increasing acuity Newly approved ICU expansion that will double ICU capacity Modern, growing unit with strong development opportunities Express Healthcare Staffing of Nashville Job ID HT34.
