Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Echocardiography Tech to join
our faith-based healthcare organization. As an integral component
of our cardiovascular team, the Echocardiography Tech is
responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures
that support the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions. With

Perform echocardiographic examinations, including 2D/3D echo,
Doppler studies, and other cardiac imaging techniques. Collaborate
with cardiologists to interpret diagnostic images and recommend
further treatments or tests Maintain and calibrate echocardiography
equipment to ensure functional accuracy and efficiency Document
procedural findings within patient records and communicate key
results to healthcare team members Adhere to departmental
procedures and protocols while also ensuring compliance with all
health and safety regulations Participate in clinical audits and
contribute to team meetings to discuss improvements and
developments in echocardiographic practice Proficient in performing
various types of echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare
teams Strong analytical skills for interpreting medical images and
patient data Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)

Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by
the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
