Your Daily Tasks & Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapy Assistant: Turn therapy into magic by meeting kids exactly where they are—then walking with them toward who they’re meant to be. Deliver evidence-based interventions with a focus on measurable progress and goal attainment. Adapt and refine treatment activities to meet each child’s unique developmental and sensory profile. Serve as a critical feedback loop to supervising OTs, identifying what’s working and where to pivot. Mentor interns and therapy aides, helping shape the next generation of pediatric therapists. Engage in continuous learning to integrate the latest techniques into daily practice. Certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as a. Occupational Therapy Assistant as required in the state of Kentucky.
