In this vital role, you will provide post-anesthesia care and recovery for patients who have undergone various oncological procedures. The position involves closely monitoring patients, managing pain, and ensuring a safe and smooth recovery process, all within a supportive and state-of-the-art environment. Monitor patients' post-operative recovery following anesthesia, including vital signs and pain management Assess patients' condition and responsiveness to treatment, updating healthcare records and communicating with the surgical team Administer medications as prescribed and respond to any complications arising from anesthesia Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and pain management Ensure all healthcare safety and infection control standards are met Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care Strong nursing skills, excellent communication, empathetic patient care, proficient in electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of practice BLS certification ACLS certification preferred CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification is an advantage
