Position Summary: This position provides clinical and
administrative support to all staff and assists Physician Practice
Manager in all aspects of the physician practices. Position
Requirements: Formal Education / Training: Degree of RN, LPN or
Medical Assistant; current TN RN or LPN Licensure or current MA
Workplace Experience: At least three years of experience in medical
office setting. Demonstrate leadership, managerial ability and good
interpersonal skills. Equipment and Skills Training: Must be
competent in the use Glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, stethoscope,
business phone and various oral and injectable medications. Strong
computer skills and communication required. Demonstrated ability to
self-direct, meet deadlines and support Physician Practice.
Physical Environment: Physician, clinical and office
setting/environment Physical Effort: Must be able to sit, stand and
communicate in English both orally and in writing. Lift over 20
pounds. Key Results: Schedules patients accurately using
appropriate provider templates to optimize clinic flow Obtains and
documents patients' medical histories and vital signs accurately
and thoroughly Administers immunizations and injections in
accordance with clinical guidelines and provider orders Provides
patient education and counseling on health-related issues and
preventive care Orders, stocks, and maintains clinical supplies
while ensuring office compliance Coordinates referrals and secures
consultations with specialists as needed Triage incoming telephone
calls under provider direction, prioritizing patient needs and
communicating provider medical advice Supports providers with minor
in-office procedures and independently completes nurse visits per
established clinical guidelines Serves as a liaison to support
clinical staff, promote patient safety, and ensure high-quality
care delivery Assists with the orientation and training of new
personnel Responds to patient concerns and complaints promptly and
professionally Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and
healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered
care Supports the Physician Practice Manager with day-to-day
operational activities within the practice Accurately documents and
reports incidents requiring review by manager or director
