Summary and Qualifications LOCATION – Nashville, TN
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • P & L responsibility, including the
planning and development of respective organizational budgets. •
Develop, deploy and execute a multi-year manufacturing vision and
strategy that drives optimal performance and service across
existing and future entities directly advancing the health of each
entity and ROi’s overall performance. • Champion process
improvement, operational excellence and cross functional
collaboration to achieve optimized performance across manufacturing
footprint and contribute to the overall efficiency of ROi. •
Responsible to understand and monitor global supply chain dynamics
and taking lead to report out to the GPO to aid the GPO’s supply
chain resiliency and supply disruption mitigation efforts. • Create
a clear vision and execution pathway to enable the coordinated
advancement of the Regard® portfolio ensuring initiatives are
aligned across all business units. • Develop and maintain effective
relationships, internal and external, to support business needs
including financial objectives, innovation and risk mitigation. •
Build a cohesive, customer-oriented team that drives the goals and
success of the organization. • Create a pipeline of future leaders
by cultivating an environment where there is challenging work,
opportunities for exposure, and regular coaching and feedback •
Drive cooperation between ROi department leaders, AVP of Global
Sourcing and HealthTrust to ensure strategic fit and integration of
initiatives, effectively transitioning strategic efforts to daily
business owners while remaining accountable for issue resolution. •
Closely liaise with quality and regulatory assurance team to ensure
operations and product standards are met or exceeded. • Oversee and
directly participate, where necessary, in agreement negotiations. •
Set policy for respective operations to ensure achievement of
business objectives and alignment with investor philosophies. •
Responsible to gain executive approval and funding for the
implementation, integration and performance of new strategies,
including realignment strategies associated with existing assets. •
Administer all commodity reporting; develop and implement
strategies to offset commodity risks. • Analyze customer
requirements and prepare appropriate contracts and negotiate for
all purchase material. Effectively involve supply chain to ensure
seamless implementation and fill rates. • Proactively assess
potential investments, ensuring such investments yield productivity
and risk mitigation benefits consistent with objectives. KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS & ABILITIES • Ability to develop a global vision for
manufacturing, with short and long-term strategic plans. • Strong
experience and understanding manufacturing and global supply of
medical products. • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic
plans. Sees the big picture and has a long-term perspective, while
balancing it against short-term realities. • Strategic change agent
with a track record of transforming organizations through people,
process, technology in a best practice environment. • Strategic
thinker who can quickly assess current state, develop a strategy to
bridge leveraging a people, process, technology approach to drive
improvement projects, and identify end-to-end supply chain
implications • Excellent organizational, project management, and
time management skills include multitasking, prioritizing, meeting
deadlines, following up, and attention to detail. Adaptable to
multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments.

disparate data sets. • Highly skilled in building valued

unimportant facts. • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing,
sourcing, supply chain and GPO operations. • Effective
communication (oral, listening, writing, and presentation skills)
with a variety of stakeholders from executives to staff. •
Demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary,
matrix reporting team as a group leader, facilitator, or
participant. • Ability to work independently and handle stress

zones. • Demonstrates a leadership presence. EDUCATION • Bachelor’s
degree in business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or a
related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred
EXPERIENCE • Minimum of 10 years of proven and relevant business
experience (including global experience) in Manufacturing,
Sourcing, Operations, or Supply Chain Management. • Mandarin and/or
Spanish fluency a plus. • Must be proficient and knowledgeable of
Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, EDI, and ERP and supply
chain systems for large, complex organizations. Tecsys and
Salesforce experience desired • Familiar with Operational
Excellence and Lean Six-Sigma tool sets. • Working knowledge and
experience within the following regulations: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CRF
- Part 820 QSR, ISO 9001. • Experience working with or supervising
factory labor forces in a cooperative manner (non-union) TRAVEL •
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
CERTIFICATIONS • CPSM or CSCP certifications are a plus! In todays
