Ascension Saint Thomas is a 40- bed inpatient acute rehabilitation

contribute A speech-language pathologist who excels in this role: -
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work with minimal supervision. - Must be able to work in
a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - Performs and
documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. -
Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to
problems identified and involves the patient and family. - Educates
and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and
progress. - Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from
therapy services. - Supervises activities of clinical fellows,

Applicants should have a current state board of speech-language
pathology & audiology certification. Additional requirements
include: - Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Required - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days
