Job Description:

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist PRN to join our dynamic team. In this role, the professional will operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images as part of patient treatment plans. The MRI Technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists to produce high-quality images and enhance patient care. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate emergency cases and patient appointments. Operate MRI equipment to produce images according to physician's orders. Assist radiologists during procedures and ensure accurate data is produced. Maintain patient safety and comfort during scans. Implement and adhere to safety protocols to reduce exposure to magnetic fields. Prepare patients for imaging by explaining the process, positioning them appropriately, and answering any questions. Ensure equipment is maintained and report any malfunctions. Keep accurate patient records and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in operating MRI scanning equipment Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology Effective communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Technical skills to handle complex machinery Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI. Valid state license as required.
