Job Description:
TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, a comprehensive healthcare
facility in Smyrna, TN, is currently seeking a dedicated RN Float
to join our team. This role requires a flexible and skilled nurse
who can adapt to various departments such as emergency care,
cardiology, orthopedics, birthing center, and surgical services.
Our float nurses are essential to maintaining high-quality patient
care during absences or periods of high patient volume. As an RN
Float, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide
comprehensive, top-quality healthcare, adapting swiftly to the
needs of various units while maintaining the highest standards of
safety and care. Provide high-quality nursing care in varying
departments according to patient needs and acuity. Adapt to the
unique protocols and standards of each unit while maintaining
overall hospital policies. Monitor patient conditions and assess
their needs to provide timely intervention. Administer medications
and treatments accurately and safely. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health
management. Document all patient interactions accurately and comply
with all legal requirements. Strong clinical skills in a variety of
nursing departments Excellent adaptability to rapidly changing
environments Superior communication and teamwork skills Ability to
manage time effectively and make independent decisions Highly
skilled in patient assessment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Tennessee Basic Life Support (BLS)
certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred
