TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leader in comprehensive healthcare services located in Nashville, Tennessee, is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse to join our team on a per diem (PRN) basis. This role is critical in our quest to provide exceptional cardiac care, and the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment aiming for the highest standards of surgical care and patient recovery. You will be integral in ensuring a sterile and safe surgical environment, collaborating closely with cardiovascular surgeons and healthcare professionals, and adhering to our mission of exceptional service. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile Monitor patient’s vital signs and administer medications during surgery Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring efficient turnover between cases Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to deliver excellent patient care Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment compliant with healthcare regulations and standards Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records Proficiency in cardiovascular patient care and surgical assistance Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
