Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Smyrna, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Smyrna, Tennessee, 37167! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Positive attitude Teamwork Problem-solving skills Advanced skills in ventilator/sedation management Medication titration Description: The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Staff includes technicians available for support. Equipment includes GE monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Drager ventilators. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. There is a floating policy in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers. Patient experience includes AIDET principles, completion of a communication board, and medication teaching. The unit is certified as Trauma Level III. Procedures performed on the unit include trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion. Dress code requires charcoal gray scrubs. Unit guidelines and policies are provided for reference. The department recognizes outstanding performance and teamwork.
