patient-centered care Description: This position is on a Med Surg
unit with a total of 67 beds. The patient ratio is typically 6:1.
The unit employs Patient Care Techs and Support Nursing Assistants.
Unit secretaries are available during the day shift hours. The
documentation system in use is Meditech. Schedules are organized on
a monthly basis. Full-time staff is required to work four weekend
shifts per schedule. Floating to inpatient units may occur to
assist with patient care. The environment promotes teamwork and
collaboration among staff. Advanced skills are not commonly
performed on this unit, unlike others. All candidates are
encouraged to apply regardless of experience level. Staff are
expected to adhere to a specific dress code while on duty. No
casual clothing, such as denim or hoodies, is allowed. Candidates
should be aware of the unit’s guidelines and policies. The
