ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement • Primarily 2:1 patient ratios with some 1:1 and 3:1 assignments • Float to ICU overflow unit as needed • Work with advanced equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG • Use Meditech documentation system • Support on procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubations • Work collaboratively with 1 nurse tech on the unit • ICU experience required • Strong critical thinking skills and communication skills essential • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS • Dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs • Unit education and onboarding provided with facility educator Facility: This healthcare facility features a 6-bed ICU located in the main building and is recognized as one of the highest-ranking facilities in all of HCA for quality and staff engagement.
