Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures using computerized tomography scanners. This role is responsible for creating cross-section images of patients' masses and internal organs for medical analysis. The technologist maintains a safe and clean working environment, follows quality assurance guidelines, and ensures the safety and comfort of the patient throughout the exam. What you will do in this role: - You will perform all requested computed tomography examinations and document patient care services - You will operate radiology equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain equipment inventories - You will ensure patient safety and comfort during transport and throughout the exam - You will administer contrast agents under the guidance of a site Radiologist - You will maintain a safe, clean, and cooperative work environment by adhering to hospital policies and infection control protocols - You will provide images in the desired format and contribute to the team effort as needed - You will maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous education and professional development What qualifications you will need: - Current ARRT registration - Computer Tomography certification strongly preferred or acquired within six months of hire - 1 year post-graduate related experience strongly preferred - Current BLS certification (or obtained 30 days from hire) TriStar Horizon Medical Center is an accredited, 150 bed regional medical center.
