Join our healthcare team and make a difference in women’s services and maternal care./n /n/nTravel Nurse Job Details/n /n - Location: Dickson, TN 37055 (Tennessee nursing jobs)/n - Setting: Women’s Services – LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)/n - Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment/n - Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130/n - Unit Details: LDRP (9 beds), OBED (1 bed), NICU (4 beds), 1 OR suite/n - Patient Ratios: 1:1 for active labor, inductions, C-sections; 1:3 for couplet care; 1:1 for newborns until stable; NICU 1:3 intermediate care/n - Documentation: Meditech and CPN systems/n - Dress Code: Pink and/or brown scrubs per infant security policy/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active RN license (Registered Nurse)/n - Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (charge nurse experience required)/n - BLS and NRP certifications/n - Fetal Monitoring training/n - Experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil), shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and OB emergencies preferred/n - Strong assessment skills for mothers and newborns/n - Ability to float within facility as needed/n /n/nL&D RN Responsibilities/n /n - Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum support/n - Transition and assess newborns, including stabilization and ongoing monitoring/n - Perform and assist with procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum/forceps-assisted deliveries/n - Utilize advanced equipment including CPN central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot for neonatologist, bili-blankets, and PCA pumps/n - Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN systems/n - Participate in daily patient and safety rounding/n - Collaborate with a highly experienced team of Registered Nurses (RNs), many with 7–30 years of tenure/n - Maintain compliance with unit policies and procedures/n /n/n /n Join our dedicated healthcare team in Dickson, Tennessee and expand your skills in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal nursing care.
