Setting: Women’s Services – LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery,
Postpartum) - Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment -
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week -
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130 - Unit Details: LDRP (9
beds), OBED (1 bed), NICU (4 beds), 1 OR suite - Patient Ratios:
1:1 for active labor, inductions, C-sections; 1:3 for couplet care;
1:1 for newborns until stable; NICU 1:3 intermediate care -
Documentation: Meditech and CPN systems - Dress Code: Pink and/or
brown scrubs per infant security policy Registered Nurse
Qualifications - Active RN license (Registered Nurse) - Minimum 1
year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (charge nurse experience
required) - BLS and NRP certifications - Fetal Monitoring training
- Experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil), shoulder
dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and OB emergencies preferred -
Strong assessment skills for mothers and newborns - Ability to
float within facility as needed L&D RN Responsibilities -
Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, including labor,
delivery, recovery, and postpartum support - Transition and assess
newborns, including stabilization and ongoing monitoring - Perform
and assist with procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions,
intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum/forceps-assisted deliveries -
Utilize advanced equipment including CPN central monitoring, IV
pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot for neonatologist,
bili-blankets, and PCA pumps - Document patient care accurately
using Meditech and CPN systems - Participate in daily patient and
safety rounding - Collaborate with a highly experienced team of
Registered Nurses (RNs), many with 7–30 years of tenure - Maintain
