United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg
for a travel nursing job in Smyrna, Tennessee. Job Description &
Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel Number of Beds: 54 (11 beds dedicated to
ortho/spine) Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for RNs, 1:12-15 for PCTs Unit
Staffing: 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs per hall; Unit secretaries until
8p, techs and externs available Equipment: Alaris pumps, remote
telemetry, specialty beds, wound vacs, chest tubes, NG/feeding
tubes EMR: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: At least 1 weekend per
4-week period; blocked scheduling by case Floating Policy: Within
unit discretion Certifications: BLS, ACLS (optional) Required
Skills: 1 year M/S experience, good time management, critical
thinking, and prioritization skills Patient Population: Med-surg,
ortho, spine, trauma, psych holds Personality Fit: Punctual, team
player, effective communicator Procedures: General M/S, post-op
ortho, trauma, dialysis, thoracentesis, CBI Required Education:

package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
