Interventional Radiology (IR) Location:1201 Pleasant Valley Rd,
Owensboro, KY 42303 Shift:Day Shift – 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM – 05:30
PM) Contract Length:13 Weeks Start Date:ASAP Position Summary We
are seeking an experiencedInterventional Radiology Registered Nurse
(RN)to join the IR team at a reputable medical facility in
Owensboro, KY. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment
requiring a high level of clinical expertise, critical thinking,
and adaptability. The ideal candidate will have at least3 years of
recent IR experience, strong knowledge of moderate sedation
protocols, and the ability to take on-call responsibilities. Key
Responsibilities - Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic
interventional radiology procedures - Administer moderate sedation
and monitor patient responses - Maintain patient safety and comfort
throughout procedures - Collaborate with radiologists,
technologists, and other members of the care team - Provide pre-
and post-procedure patient education and support - Respond to
emergencies during procedures and initiate appropriate
interventions - Participate in on-call rotation as required
Requirements - Licensure & Certifications: - Active RN License (KY
or Compact) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)– Required
- Education: - Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum) - Experience:
- Minimum3 yearsof Interventional Radiology nursing experience -
Experience withmoderate sedationadministration isrequired - On-call
