Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR First Assist - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/23/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description As an operating room first assistant open heart nurse (RN ORFA-OH), you will serve as the primary assistant to the surgeon during open-heart surgery. Working primarily within the operating suite, you will prepare and use surgical equipment and instruments, cut and handle tissue, control bleeding, monitor patient status and bandage wounds.
