Histotechnologist IV to support our client’s medical facility based
in Nashville, TN 37236/nThis is a Contract job with a possible

top-tier healthcare organization!/n/nTitle - Histotechnologist
IV/nLocation: Nashville, TN 37236/nSchedule: 3rd/
8pm-4:30am/nDuration - 06 months (Contract to hire )/nPay Range:
$35/hr to $40/hr /n/nDescription:/n/nSummary:/nThe main function of
a histotechnologist is to perform complex medical laboratory tests
for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease./n/nJob
Responsibilities:/n•/tReview laboratory findings to check the
accuracy of the results. Supervise clinical studies and other
research projects./n•/tInstruct staff to operate, calibrate and
maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis,
such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and
computer-controlled analyzers./n•/tDevelop, standardize, evaluate,
and modify procedures, techniques and tests used in the analysis of
specimens and in medical laboratory experiments./n•/tEstablish and
monitor quality assurance programs and activities to ensure the
accuracy of laboratory results. Supervise, train, and direct lab
assistants, medical and clinical laboratory technicians and
technologists, and other medical laboratory workers engaged in
laboratory testing./n/n Skills:/n•/tVerbal and written
communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving
skills./n•/t Expert ability to work independently and manage one
time./n•/t Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to
provide support and constructive performance feedback./n•/tExpert
knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (international quality standard
for human clinical trials) and local regulations./n•/tExpert
knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and
treat human injuries and diseases./n•/tExpert ability to analyze
data and accurately document and record
results./n/nEducation/Experience:/n Embedding and Microtomy
required/n•/t Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
