Job Summary: The LPN performs direct patient care within the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse in the assigned Unit:
• You will provide quality care to patients and perform required procedures in accordance with established Tennessee Scope of Practice Parameters, Department Protocols and hospital credentialing.
• You will administer prescribed medications to patients in accordance with hospital policies and practice guidelines.
• You will participate in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement and maintain cultural/diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.
• Your role promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment.
• You must fulfill departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of HMC. • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current registration with the TN State Board of Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification.
