  The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within thescope of the Registered Nurse. Cares for all patients of all ages. Participatesin Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients,visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Promotes a supportive, team-workoriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with thelong-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon. Job Duties:
  • You will demonstrate age specific knowledge of humangrowth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care ofpatients.
  • You will ensure the privacy of our patients andconfidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • You will utilize nursing process for individual care tomeet needs of patients.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to perform technicalskills and procedures.

    • Current licensure with the Tennessee State Board of Nursing or Compact State
    • Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
    • 1 year of RN experience
