Job Title: Design ManagerAt Trane Technologies, we're committed to creating innovative climate solutions for a sustainable world. As a Design Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our global design organization and driving the development of new products and technologies.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of designers specializing in NPD Design Product Development, Productivity, and Product Improvement Projects.
• Support the enhancement of strategic global processes for CAD Modeling Techniques, Design, Procedures, Product Design Processes, Design Methods, and Design/Drafting Standards.
• Collaborate with extended global design teams and leadership in India and China to meet project goals.
• Develop and implement Advanced and Standard Work CAD modeling techniques, CAD design procedures, CAD productivity improvements, and CAD verification processes.
• Assist in the planning, process definition, and change management for the Product Life Management (PLM) system.Requirements:
  • Associate degree in mechanical or electrical design (or equivalent technical degree) and at least 7 years of relevant work experience in a product design environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology (or equivalent technical degree) and at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a product design environment.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team of direct reports.
  • Intimate knowledge of change control processes and procedures fundamentals.
  • Strong project management competency, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PTC products preferred (Creo, PLM-Wind-chill, Piping, Sheet Metal).What We Offer:
