SummaryHeartland continues to build a best-in-class Product
Marketing function within Marketing. This position will work with
the Payments business and report to the Director of Product
Marketing for Payments.
We're looking for a strategic thinker who is passionate and deeply
invested in growing the long term value of our customers. Your work
will be highly visible, cross-functional, and broad in scope.
Priorities include becoming the audience expert, defining pain
points and messaging, building GTM launch plans and educational
materials, enabling our sales team, and creating content that
amplifies the Heartland story and differentiates us in our market.
This is a critical product marketing role within a rapidly growing
company, with the opportunity to define the function, to establish
customer personas, positioning, messaging, jobs to be done, and
collateral for launches and lifecycle marketing.
What skills are we looking for?
- You can conduct market/competitive research, gather sales
feedback, and interview customers in key industries to develop a
deep understanding of the target buyer, end user, their key use
cases, and key pain points.
- Partner with Channel and Revenue Marketing teams on campaigns
to drive pipeline.
- Craft compelling messaging and deliver sales enablement
materials; refine materials based on sales and customer
- Partner with product marketing leaders across the organization
to develop and maintain a cohesive go-to-market roadmap.
- Identify and facilitate customer stories and value
- Stay on top of product marketing best practices, and
consistently share the best of what you learn with your team to
infuse it into your ideation, strategy and approach.
- Execute marketing collateral, sales tools and launch
What are the requirements?
- You are a strong collaborator with excellent communications
skills (oral, written, and listening).
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong business to business sales skills.
- Passion for understanding customers, their problems and
- You have a positive attitude and a passion for learning.
- You have some experience with marketing or communications with
a focus on writing.
