JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities:Implementation and effectiveness of the QM system agreed with ManagementCoordinating and controlling all activities relating to securing qualityImplementing preventive actions to ensure adherence to quality standardsDetecting and recording quality issues / defects in productsTaking remedial action and making recommendations, bearing in mind accountabilities (Quality Improvement Plans)Checking to see whether problem-solving measures have been implementedContinuing to monitor processes, deliveries or assembly of non-conforming product until such time as defects or quality issues have been eradicatedDeveloping and implementing quality improvement programsInvestigation in the event of damageMaking recommendations and introducing technical improvements to quality assurance and testing systemsDecisions on concessionsInforming Management about quality relevant figures and measures with the aim of improving quality standardsAdvising all Sections of the Company in matters relevant to quality assuranceMonitoring QM activities in other SectionsPerforming internal auditsCarrying out quality planning, control and the dissemination of quality informationInvolvement in decisions on the use of production systemsAnalysis of the costs of quality in conjunction with other SectionsImplementation, instigation and co-ordination of FMEA's and quality analysisCareer planning support for QA employees. Includes training requirements and cross training within department.Enforce all safety regulations and requirements. Specific function related duties:Management of new part or engineering change approvals (PPAP Process)Coordinating change implementationExecuting and monitoring of all planning work in CRH North America, Inc. located in Clanton and cooperation with CRH-SG operational departments and Detroit R & D. Participating in Material Review Board to disposition nonconforming product.Coordinating testing of assemblies and finished partsInstigating defect reports, following up and implementing corrective measuresAuthority:Disciplinary action administeredPortions of the job may not be standardized or completely described in the job Description and may require some independent action and thinking by the employee.Qualifications Possess solid applied Statistical-Process-Control experience.Minimum 5 years experience in an assembly manufacturing environment.Good PC skills, Excel, Word etc.Experience in quality automotive systems certification standards and implementation.Supervisory experience.Theoretical and practical experience with measuring equipment.Working knowledge of German is an advantage but not required.Good business administration skillsAbility to work well with other departments; good communication skills.Good organizational skillsGood procedure writing skills.PRIMARY LOCATION Lexington FacilityCOMPANY INFORMATIONAdient is a global leader in automotive seating.
